It's GM A.S.E.P. (automotive service educational program). I am a graduate, and I quit the dealership because of said politics and red tape. These guys know what they are talking about. I loved the idea, and I love General Motors, but the dealership is a heap of ****.

Go to school for 4 years or more and get a real job (my honest advise).

yep flate rate sucks... Even if you are a good mechanic, you still end up taking short cuts...

Yep, if you enjoy spending money on mods, DONT be a mechanic... THE PAY SUCKS.. Do it as a hobby, enjoy it...
