Any RC nerds?

Getting into it is expensive but parts are cheap. New gear was $17. Servo relocation and crossover steering assembly and skid plate was $45. I can afford to fix these things when they break haha.

Then you posted a picture of a RC on a lift. NERD ALERT! Just bustin *****. Back in the day a had a Traxxas T MAX gas powered. I had to get rid of it because it was a never ending money pit. I did the truck zero favors and my wallet felt it. Wheatley used to be pretty big into RC and had a decent collection. I'm not sure if he still messes with it.

Hahahahaha. I did say "not anymore"
But yeah, my RC lift is pretty awesome, I cannot deny. Its useless to work on the car, for sure. But for static display and "awe" factor, its great

I don't play with battery RC cars, not that their not fast or fun, battery RC just doesn't feel realistic enough vs nitro
OFNA buggy didn't keep long. It was quick but the T-MAXX stuff fit my homemade track much better.

Bought a ragged out T-Maxx 2.5 rebuilt it and installed the bigger 3.3 engine.
Seen better days

Rebuilt and sporting the discontinued and VERY rare 1970 Cuda body from HPI-Racing. I shot it in metalflake green, it looks a foot deep with the polycarbonate body used as the clear outer coat.

OOPS

My bigger T-Maxx 3.3 with custom painted body. This T-Maxx 3.3 engine was the donor for the Cuda. I replaced this engine with a PICCO T-Maxx 3.49cc engine with 2.7hp @ 37,000rpm. This Truck is a little screamer

I do play with battery stuff when I want to get high...

I tried the drone thing but it didn’t excite me. Sold it to a buddy. Some of my techs are huge into them and their kids race in leagues and what not. It’s crazy stuff.
USPS comes through again. My new spur gear that tracking this morning showed out for delivery is now delayed until Jan 15-18. Awesome.

Gonna need to see that dyno graph my guy
What gear was this in? Was the torque converter locked*? What was the correction factor? DA? What brand dyno? Was it humid? What was the torque? Have you weighed it and run it at the track? Thats the only way to tell, really
*yes I know it has a centrifugal clutch, but it was funnier to say torque converter given our audience
