I'm trying to do the Humidistat to a Lennox G61 furnance. Anyway I'm not for sure how to do this. I know where the ODT sensor goes and H terminals go to water solenoid. What else do I need to do? I've 24 volts coming out of furnance but only when heat is requested. As soon as it shuts off the 24volts goes away. I think it needs a constant 24 but I'm not for sure where to get that. I'm sure the switched 24 needs a home too.

well you can set it up to only run with a call for heat or for it run anytime the fan motor is running. how r you looking to have it setup? not sure how humid you want your house. the controller does need a constant 24 volts at all times. im not real up to date on lennox but....if you cant find a constant 24 volts then just install a transformer.

This is in most cases true. But he has a two stage furnace. Really depends on how muc moisture he would like brought into the system. i cant seeing you needing that much moisture in the house.
