My truck bogs down like crazy and I have no idea why

This was on 31.6" tires and 3.42's also.


Let me put it this way. 1/8 mile wise, I'm the slowest truck on the site with an 11.25

My time was so bad that it's making me laugh.

 

2.77...is that a joke like the 2.9 or serious? But, with gears, stall, slicks, weight reduction, you will drop around a second. Good luck with the buildup.

 

Well here's what I figure....

I'm gonna do all this stuff:

Drop weight(I was 2-300 over stock)
Switch out my 32's for some 29's
put in the ss3200
get my 4.10's installed
buy some efans and longtubes

That should(and I hope to god it does) cut well over half a second off my 60

 

Oh and fastest time of the night was a 4.50

 

11.25?!?!?! Jesus!! What did you think about during all the spare time?

 

I know man!!! I have to figure out why my truck is bogging down so bad. It almost feels quicker from idle-3000 rpms if I only accelerate half throttle compared to WOT.

 

Maybe the cam is one tooth off, hell I dont know man, could be all in the tuning. I honestly think your exhaust is screwing oyu pretty good too.

 

Well I expected to run pretty bad times, maybe not THIS shitty, but still.

I'll be going to SAR whenever I get the chance to put in the converter. That should hopefully wake things up.
