Im a pretty strong guy and am good at what I do(UH-1N Huey Door gunner with 7 combat tours) I guess i wasnt on my A game today... Props to your boy for beating the **** out of one guy...I wouldnt judge every single one because of that one time.
Like I said I respect marines because they've obviously got *****. It's just a pet peeve when if someone is asked if someone is strong (or whatever) and they go, 'He's a marine.'. That's about as pointless if I ask if someone is good at reading comprehension and they say, 'He's a marine.'. It has nothing to do with the question asked. I know bad *** marines and I know ***** *** marines (probably just like you know some of each as well).

Either way, you've done more for this country and the people in it (me included) than 99% of the people that live in it and that deserves a sincere 'Thank you!'.

I'm deciding whether Im going to call **** or not on the guy claiming they carried around a 6.0 with no problem. My complete 6.0 really weighed down the bed of my truck. I've deadlifted 475 for a single and I really wouldn't even attempt picking up an engine off the ground with one other person. I'm not sure what you'd grab onto it would be akward.

Glad you finally got it taken care of.
As for lifting the block, I bet the problem wasn't weight, but too many guys trying to lift. Notice how others have said only one or two lifted it. Three people trying to pick-up one block- not much room to move.

Really though, you guys shoulda called Chuck Norris- he woulda just told the engine block to get out, and it woulda listended, cuz' it knows betta'!!!
