Apparently there was a full race cam and then 3/4 and so on. A real radical lopey cam (high lift/duration) = full race, a moderately lopey cam (moderate lift /duration) = 3/4 race cam, but there are many different takes on this as well.

This was back before people were so edugamatcated on cams... If you went to the speed shop back in the day, thats how you ordered your cam for your ride.

Corey, I thought it was built ford tough with chevy stuff, but apparently its the other way around?

He's still stuck in the times when people pretty much classified cams into basically two categories.

I don't waste my time with those 3/4 race cams, I go straight to the full race cams.

I hear that a lot around here. Full race, 3/4 race, RV, or stock cam.

Screw that, would go with a 1 1/4 race cam, why go smaller when you can go bigger

1 1/4 > 3/4
