I was referring to the Ecoboost in a regular cab short bed Ford. Ford has it, the "Tremor" package. Earlier in the thread I had commented that Ecoboost was only available in rclb, long after my post Ford released the Tremor package with the Ecoboost in a rcsb.

 

Sadly GM wont stuff a 6.2 into a RCSB...I tried to see if we could order one and it didnt fly.

 

Well that sucks. I think there's a bigger market for a affordable performance/sport truck then gm thinks, instead of building 5 different camaros you would think a nice ss package truck would be in the makings.

 

 

I think the 5.3L (355hp/383tq) more with E85 will be the best RCSB to date. Think of what a cam lil head work headers etc.... I think it'll still be one nasty truck IMO. If the 6.2L doesn't see a RCSB the 5.3L can handle the job.

 

I just tried building an extended cab and a crew cab on Chevrolet.com, neither one could you equip with a 6.2 because there not available yet. So there is still hope that in the coming months the 6.2 could become available in the regular cab trucks
