Wish I was that lucky I had to go to court today for a ticket for doing 59 in a 30 its a speed trap town though; the court was ful of people where they had got us all at the same places where the speed changes from 55 to 45 to 30 in a matter of 1000ft. Oh well got off with court cost and it not on my record

You might want to check your local laws but I am pretty sure in Oklahoma the speed limit can't change by more than 10mph in an increment...

LOL, the military ID does not work every time. I got pulled over one time (the ONLY time....so far) and showed my MIL ID along with my driver's license, registration, etc. I still received a citation for "disregard of traffic signs". Apparently, I crossed over a solid white line when I was changing lanes so I could merge over before the rest of the traffic caught up to me. The timing was bad too because it happened 2 weeks before my first deployment. Anyways, you were lucky when the cop let you go. I guess he couldn't believe a truck could maintain those speeds.

the military ID will save you if your not in a military town..

In a military down though it would go something like this..

me and my buddy we're cruisin in a military town got pulled over got clocked doing 20 over. The cop being a former Marine himself yelled at my friend and was like "OH!! SO YOU SHOULD ****** KNOW BETTER!!!!" and wrote him up without blinkin twice..

I got pulled over doing 45 over in my home town and got pulled over and when asked "why were you going so fast" I said "I've been in the desert for 7 months and I'm on the way over to my grandparents for the first time" got off easy!

good job on getting out of that one man! for real! how much did those other guys get charged?
