Default Is there TBSS's w/ 6.2?

My son and his gf are in the market for a TBSS. I've heard that the l76 (6.2) is in the 08 and newer but all the ones I've seen on the net still say 6.0.
Is this just wishfull thinking on someones part or is it true?
Any leads on one in NYS or northern Pa. ?

Yes, I think I read it online and they had the TB confused with the Escalade.
I think they would sell a few more if it were true.

No 6.2L but it does seem there are some freak motors on the last of the TBSS's bec stock they run well into the 13's at the track. Could be internet bench racing but.....what I've read. My 06 stock could only muster up a best of 14.2.

It could have to do with thier weather, elevation and weight reduction. My best stock was 14.00, 2WD 3SS. I've seen a few pop off 13.xx runs bone stock... made me jealous lol

I can't remember if mine was stock or had a little bit of a tune. If the tune was changed it was very little. 13.71

if the 6.2l + 6 speed auto tranny would have made it into the TBSS, there is nothing anybody could have done that would have stopped me from buying one
