well many of you guys know that i put the belltech kit in and was happy with it but honestly not low enough. I could adjust the rear air bags almost 2 inches lower in rear and it still rode fine and front just needed to come down.
well i saw the djm a arms in person and i bought the djm kit. I can honestly say at least on these arms they took their time and is done right when compared to the colorado pickup a arms.
the djm a arms welds are great and the a arms are thicker and heavier than stock and weighed 3 pounds more than the stock ones.
Recently i picked up my tbss back from my buddys shop that was going to bag it and im gonna put the djm a arms in my tbss and swap out to the stock tbss springs and see how it looks and ill post up pics for you guys. These arms should be perfect to lay it lower also when i put the air ride shockwaves in the front.
now lets say after im not happy with the drop ill cut 3/4 of a loop off the spring. I feel that the belltech 2 inch drop spring with the 2 inch a arms would be to low in front and the tire would rub on the fenderwell. And im not getting ground force springs because the ride sucks and it only dropped a tbss 1/2 a inch in the front
today i put the stock springs back in the struts and took the stock upper a arms out (driver side front bolt is harder to pull out but still gets out)
hopefully tomm ill get the djm upper a arms in and slap the struts back in and take pics. And then drive for a week and see if im going to cut the front spring like 3/4 loop or get the www.kbee.jp coilovers before i bag it.
i have to see if the stock tires will rub on full compression on the front fenderwells because this truck is not like the 94-03 s10s or 88-98 silverados where the wheel well is much higher than the fenderlip. On the trailblazer ss where your fenderlip is at is pretty much where the top of the fenderwell is.
If if does rub ill get 255 45 20 in front and rear 295 40 20 since im gettin the rear tires widened

im going to do a few differnet things see the handeling. The coilovers im thinking about might be nice to but i still want to bag it . Ill see what happens. I want to test all the options so i can give the right feedback to the others that want to lower their tbss and do it the right way.

put in the arms and thing looks much better.
djm a arms with stock ss springs is the lowest id go. I have about 3 inches before the tire would hit the top of the fenderwell. I might go lower but put on 255 45 20 in front and rear im going to be getting the wheels widened so if i decide to go lower in front and get 255 45 20 ill go with 295 40 20.

Your lame, its been raining in Cali for like the last 6 months, and it will probably keep raining for another 6 months.. Its just water, it aint gonna hurt nothin..
Besides, you said you bought a 2wd to do donuts in, well the rain is the perfect time to do it, plenty of lubrication to save your tires..
