I did not realize that the tbss gets so bad of mileage even after being tuned. My crew cab on 22s gets better gas mileage. I gets bc its a heavy vehicle with a 6.0.

I see high teens-low 20 MPG's staying off the pedal on the highway. Around town staying out of OD I'll see 12-15. I dont consider it bad for what it is and I never purchased a performance based v-8 SUV for fuel economy.

we dont really keep track of mileage on my wifes but i do set the trip and reset the mpg and on a long trip if i stay out of it it will get close to 20. but around town its hard to say. cause she only goes to the store and back and since we had the baby it sits running for 5-10 min to cool off before we put the little guy in.

I drove about 80-90 miles last night after work to come see my fiance going 70-75 after a fill up. I calculated mpgs after I got here and it was 19.1.

If i can't find a low mileage TBSS, then i may be looking into a SS Impala for her.
'08 AWD Stock

17-18 Max on HWY being very easy on throttle transitions and using cruise at 70

13.8 AVG mixed stop and go HWY overall use. In comparison our '04 Z71 4x4 Tahoe gets 12.9 in similar use.

I rent a car 2-3 times a week for work and often get newer Tahoes, 4x4 5.3/6a. They seem to show consistent avg of 17-18.

Mine has went up to 16 in town, where i was at 14, after the fans, tune, and cai. I don't know about highway yet. Considering the SRT8 Cherokee's that come into our shop are lucky to see 15 on the highway, the SS is pretty good.
