so really which on is better. c6? or ls1?

also the ECU patch, that is just a tuning thing correct?

if its an 06 id say C6 but if 07-09 then go LS1.In 07 most or all of gm trucks went to the pwm power managment thingy and it really screws with the C6 fan when the voltage drops.

^^^ since i posted the first message i have heard that a lot of guys run ls1. it has two fans. does it work better then c6?

Andrew is right on they money.

We have a battery cable kit that can bypass the power management, but honestly, LS1 are the way to go.

well thats still up in the air but ths C6 does cool ..... well the C6 vette lol.The cooling of the tbss is really limited by the radiator and not so much by the fan cooling it.
