Plus you're willing to spend $500 on a gear swap to save $10 a tank. Smart move chief.

I have a set of 3.73 I would trade you strait across for the 4.10s, but you will still need another set for the other diff. PM me if you want.

I have a 2wd and I changed to a 3:42 and I love the gearing..Go down the highway at 2k rpms doing 74mph....My city driving went to 18 almost 19 and highway 22mpg...Mine has a ton of bolt-ons so I couldnt tell much of a differencr in performance..I went to 3:42's cause I have heads and a MP122HH for my truck also...But i love th gear without those mods..Runs killer from a roll..Actually is faster from the roll than before..Slower out of the whole..Not much

swaping to a 3.73 you wont gain that much mpg. if you go to a 3.42 you will really loose your take off. a good tune will help you out some but not a whole lot.
