p0420 and p0430 with Kook's LT with Catted Y-pipe
Hey, need a lil help here please!
I just picked up a 06 TBSS with some mods and i gotta get rid of these codes… darn emissions.
Pulling a couple codes, P0420 cat efficiency Bank 1 and P0430 cat efficiency Bank 2.
I would be thankful for any and all help or opinions to help remedy these two codes!
I know it has the Kook's Long Tubes with their Catted Y-pipe and all four o2 sensors. Also has a Borla Single to Dual Cat back. It also had a CIA which i have taken off and replaced with the stocker! I also have no idea if it has ever been Tuned?
It also has the dreaded Service Stablitrack = Steering sensor code "C0455". And a "C0040" for a right front wheel speed sensor. Both these seem easily fixed by new sensors.
I then have to tackle the darn, service Air Ride BS… it has already been converted to solid rear Coils.
Thanks,
Steve

High flow cats often throw out the codes. Besides maybe the new kooks green cats
Is the truck tuned?
If not you should tune it after a headers install. And any tuner should be able to adjust your o2 sensors.
Where are you from ?
