you cant hide a shift kit you know...GM may void warranty. IMO its worth it to save the money and put it towards a good built tranny IF your original ever blows. you take 1500 from the price of the warranty and invest it for 5% you'd have almost 2k for a new tranny in 5yrs.

True dat, but I tend to blow an axle and/or transfer case on my vehicles within the first 80k miles, too. Really, I'm just hard as hell on my trucks, and I the warranty has always paid off for me in droves...
