I just got rid of my 2002 WS6 Trans Am for a AWD TBSS (07) and I don't regret it one lil bit and would do it again in a HEARTBEAT!!!! I live up in the Pacific Northwest otherwise I would have gone with the 2WD version........and yes, that 100k mile warranty is a nice thing to have for peace of mind.

After driving a 6-spd for nearly 5 years, the auto trans is a nice (and welcome) change.

 

Im still undecided on what im gonna do but may end up with tbss

 

It's smooth, it's fast and it rides nice........plus it just looks badadd.

Is your V the ls6 model...because i know they put the ls2 in the newer ones..which is the same...ive also heard lots of problems w/ the cts-vs blowing the rearends w/ moderate amounts of strain put to them. I love my TB...Ive always loved both the V and the ss..so that would be a difficult decision on my part as well!

 

Keep the V and buy a TBSS to tow your V to the track.
