Congrats on the new addition to the stable!

The compressor kicking on and off is quite normal actually. It does get a little annoying, it's constantly compensating for passenger side bag that bleeds quite rapidly.

I'm considering ditching the bags all together and going coils out back.

The only advice i'd have is watch the trans. Natoriously weak link in the whole vehicle. Mine started slipping at about 38K miles and it wasn't a daily driver and acutally spent a fair amount of time in storage between deployments and moving. The stock unit has since been replaced. Smart driving and a trans cooler go a long ways!
