Every tune is different, there are so many variances. His could have been running lean in the first place, I would email a good tuner and let them know the conditions your having and see if is in need of a tune. Hopefully it does need a tune cause tunes are awesome! Best bang for the buck.

I work on the air station on the ch-46e..thanks everyone for the help...I am going to double check tomorrow but I dont think this will fix it due to the fact that after I removed the screen I purchased a replacement and it started doing the same thing so i took it back and got a new one...It doesnt do it all the time just about 75% of the time and its really annoying me. I will keep everyone posted

I'm a little late to the party, but you've gotten some good advice. Each one these trucks is different. I haven't had a screen in my MAF since I first got it tuned, but I've run it for several weeks w/o a tune w/ my Jetttstream CAI still installed and never had a problem. You might try some spray MAF cleaner. It could have gotten dirty or oily.
A local tuner is obviously the most convenience choice, but don't be afraid of the mail order tunes from the reputable vendors here and on other sites: PCM4less & Vector have a lot of happy customers.
