Danielle has the TBSS and she had a light come on. She said it is a orange light right next to the cruise control light and looks like a guage. Nothing came up on the read out. I don't have a book near me and she said it wasn't in the truck..

Could someone tell me what it says it is in the book? Thanks a ton!!


This has me concerened as I had to replace a radiator yesterday in it ans it split. Once I did that, it still wouldn't recover in temp. It was hot at the water pump and cold on both radiator hoses.

Pulled the T-stat and it was stuck. In an effort to get it running and going yesterday, I cut the tstat out so I could use the outer section with the rubber ring and seal it back up. The Tstat was definately stuck as it would recover temp after that.

She said the water temp guage was way lower than normal on her way in to work (which I figured it would be)

Just worried about something else now.

Its the "check gauges" light and its set off by coolant temp or oil pressure... It could have been the low temp??

That's what I'm guessing.. She said once off the freeway this morning climbing a hill in town, the light went away and the temp guage was in it's normal location (was reading cold before)..

Just need to order up a T-stat..
