Default Gonna buy a Bose System

Deal is done. Anyway, my TBSS doesn't have the Bose. The one I am buying is from a TBSS. My question is, will I have to have the dealer reflash anything? Is it prewired?, What about XM?

I think the radio would need to be unlocked...the XM box and antenna are seperate from the stereo, and you better make sure you get the amp and wiring because I think all of that is different as well.

itd be a lot easier and better quality if you put a custom system in.

Yea, but why take the easy route. I'm done with the big aftermarket stereo thing. I like the way the Bose system sounds.

I love my Bose....you will need to have the PCM reflashed with the TechII and have them load the software in that the Bose needs to work.

I would get the bose from an 02 or 03 I have an 06 TB SS and my cousin has an 02 Envoy his bose is louder, cleaner and more bass . I'm not sure when they changed it. They did change it though .

BTW drove a 07 Avalanche LTZ and the Bose in there is sick way louder then my fullsize bose .

Just another thumbs-up for the Bose. I absolutely love mine. Although I keep losing the XM signal - not sure if something is loose somewhere or what...

This is correct. The Bose in our 02 TB is MUCH nicer (louder, crisper, waaay more bass) than the Bose in our 06 TBSS.
