Default Built 80eand swap. BUSTED!

Did an 80e swap in an 07 Tbss with a Procharged 402 last Friday for a customer. He got 1600 miles on a lvl7 65e and then found us. We don't do performance builds so we recommended he find a performance builder for an 80e. Took about five weeks to get the unit and 80e swap kit.

Put it together Friday. The unit was gorgeous on the outside and cost 4.5k with a 3000 stall Verter. Worked great. Called him today to check on it and he said it lost forward and reverse gears.

Im expecting the input sprag busted but could be the input shaft. He's gonna tow it in tomorrow so ill know what it broke then. I feel terrible for the guy. He's been thru it on this truck.

Ill update tomorrow.

Rather not say on here. Im sure they will make it right. Only thing that sucks is that we have to charge to r&r it again. Its not the input sprag. Maybe converter. Ill know tomorrow. I think it makes right around 700. 402 D1.

I still owe you another lunch. Let me know when you want to cash in. Lol
