Default Wheel & Tire upgrade suggestions for 1995 Yukon

So my 1995 Yukon 4DR 4WD is in need of new tires. I hate the stock wheels and have always wanted to upgrade. I've rounded it down to two options...either the 17" GM wheels that come stock on 2006 Z71's (either silverado or tahoe style is fine), or I could just go with go 'ole chrome steel US Wheel 16" (series 97 is my favorite style). Notice i'm trying to stay on the cheaper side...this is my daily driver. I'm just looking for a more aggressive look and better off-road grip. I still want reasonably quiet highway manners. I will likely be going with Geolander A/T+II tires.

The area in which I am looking for suggestions is which wheels would serve me better, and what tire size to go with. It seems like 265/70 would work for the 17" wheels, and 265/75 would be fine for the 16"s. Should I go even bigger? Either way i'm going to have to recalibrate the speedo, and the truck already has 4.10's so I don't think it would get killed too much by bigger tires (it's a slug already anyway). I'm also considering a very slight lift (3" max).

With all that in mind, what would you do? I'm open to any ideas. Shoot.

i think the 06 z71 tahoe rims would look best on your truck
and i dont know about 17s but the bigger the better on tires and small tires and lift just dont go together

and just in case you did not know...

I bet that looked amazing too. I don't know off the top of my head what those tires are exactly, but it sounds like they are pretty agressive. Was that a pretty noisy setup?

BTW, your truck looks freakin EVIL. I mean it looks like it would eat other trucks if they didn't move. That front bumper looks perfect on it. Great work.

I always run black "D" hole steel wheels, they always give a very agressive off road look, they are chep, strong, and its not a big loss if they get damaged, U.S. Wheel makes a version of them, and so does American racing, I've never paid over $45 per wheel. Just a suggestion though
