Default What wheels and tires with bdy lift?

I've got an '05 Z71 that I whant to install a 3" body lift and get new wheels and tires. I either whant 18's or 20's but have no idea what the biggest tires can fit on each. Also do you think 18's will look better than 20's? I'm not cranking on the t-bars either. From what I've read 33" overall tire diameter is about maximum? Which size tires woudl that equate to?

I know one guy that pinched 35's under his 3 inch body lift so it can be done. It will however rub at full over.

I was about to post this same question. So 35's will fit but they will rub at full turn or when stuffed a little at full turn. I am thinking of running 315's or 35's depending on the rims I choose and I do have the bars turned up just a little (enough to level it up some). Sorry for maybe stealing the post

You will run into problem with 315s if you get a 10 wide rim and a big backspacing on the rim (ie. 4.75 or 4.50). Stick with a 8" wide rim and you should be fine. Get some ford keys and a 3" body lift and you will be fine.

The ford tb key are indexed differently to give you more crank on the t bars. WIll give you about a 2" lift in the front for 100 dollars.

305's on 18's imo 20's on a 33" tire are just too much bling for me.
