What type of tow straps do you use?

A yelllow one....haha don't remember the brand. It might be better to just buy two cheaper ones and double them up.

I always run at least a 3" x 30' strap, just got one from 4wheelparts for $34.

I have 2.5" x 30' Amsteel blue rope, rated at 588,000 lbs. It is pretty much breakproof.

I have always kept both in the truck, one chain and one 3"x30' strap. yeah the chain might be a little heavy and takes up a little more space but it has never failed. i keep it in a small bag so it dont get anything it touches nasty. the strap is for just pulling something that is unstuck.
