10ply Michelin LTX2 235/80R17 on stock 2004 Tahoe cast aluminum weighs 66 pounds.
10ply Nokian Rotiiva AT 275/65R20, American Racing AR1901 20x10 weight: 95 pounds

20's on a 4x4................... =

Shitty ride, more rotating mass, and much more expensive tires. They can look half way decent on some rigs, but that's about the only +.

I wouldn't say

Depends A LOT on the rig and the wheel choice.

20" OE chrome takeoffs wearing 275/65/20 Michelin LTX AT2's on an 06 Z71 Suburban with 3" lift + level. They fill the wheel wells nicely, don't look out of place. Kind of "balance" the look; truck doesn't look lifted unless parked next to bone stock.

Wanted the brushed aluminum/powder coated/painted silver wheels but couldn't find a set when I was ready for them.

When/if the Michelins ever wear out I'm going to a more AT pattern in a 295/60/20. Same diameter, a little wider.
