Default What to expect/not expect HP/TQ guesstimate?

Ok... so this forum has thought me a lot since I signed up way back when. Ive seen alot of these guys go from stock to outrageous. Some mods on here now too, lol.

I started gathering parts, everything will be layed out and runing b4 the summer. I wanted some real approximates on what type of HP/TQ it will be making. Its a stock Lq9 block, so Im not sure what the limit is there as well...

engine: lq9 6.0
heads: 823 :L92s (6.2) heads (unmilled)
intake: L92 truck
cam: 227/235 .614/.621 113
stall: 3200 circle d
trans: 4l80e
gears: 3.73
compression: approx 10.2-3:1 compression
FI: KB Racing Hot side, with a S475 turbo 83mm wheel, 1.25a/r on T4 (gathering F/I parts now)

thinking it will make my Tahoe move and get into boost quickly on the streets? its a street truck that gets ran hard if you know what Im saying. I was thinking this turbo work better for streets vs the s480??

And whats a safe level to keep this combo and engine runing??
What Hp/TQ can I expect out of the combo as well?

so the turbo is a 75mm compressor and 83mm turbine?

Probably max out around 700-750.

had not pic, a turbo yet... Its either that s475 turbo, or the s480 with a 92mm on a 1.10 ar...

just dont know if I can get the bigger s480 to spool quick on the street. to have fun with it..

If the s475 will be better, Ill go for that instead.

The 75/83 is obviously going to spool better. I would go with Kyle's advice, he's ran more of these combos than most.

well said man, so true. And I like your build by the way, Ive been following that.
S475 it is then, its a daily truck I want to have a BLAST with, no need to play with lag etc. plus its just a Lq9 engine, no need to go crazy, Ill try keep it around 680 for the street prob and longevity...

I'm trying to push my s475 4.8L truck to 800rwhp. Why such a big cam in your combo?

well I was going to go N/A at first with high compression like 11.2:1. But decided not to mill the L92 heads and keep the compression around 10.3:1 for BOOST. I was told that my cam would work better with turbo setup, and I began this route, as too me its just badder and cooler than S/C. The Cam is still brand new in box, but I was told just run it with turbo anyways.. Cam is spec for L92 heads too, so its not that big IMO. I only think a turbo will shine it more.. Let me know what you think.

If it was spec for cathedral I think that cam would a been like a 219 range or something, but Im not cam expert.
