a 305/70/16 with and 8" rim will scrub a little. Only minor trimming is required.

They're the same height, just the 305's are wider...

Thanks, now if i can just see some pics of a 305/70 X 16
what about which tire, drive mostly on street, to work and back, pulling boat and playing in mud once in a while but like the look of a more agresive tire. so its between these too. please let me know what will last longer, and what will ride the best and what will be the quietest.
Maxxis buckshot mudder, or a BFG all tarrain, or BFG mudder,

i have wranglers on my truck and they are loud as hell just like every other truck i have been in with mts but i do have a friend who has all terrains on his f-150 and they are quiet and ride very nice and also have alot of life. i told him that he should get rid of the ford but keep the tires they are the only good quality part on that truck. if i were you i would stick with the ats if your not going to be taking it offroad that much.

ok So have it down to three tires, Maxxis buchshot mudders, Maxxis bighorn radial, or BFG all terrain. how bad will the bighorn radial be as far as street driving compared to the BFG?

The bfg mt's ride great. I never had any problems and I had well over half tread left after 2 years when I sold them.
