Default Trans issues

So I'm towing I have built 4l60 with mystery stall.

Was goin great then pulled a hill and it kicked down then when shifted back into od didn't seem it wanted to lock up. Trans dosent seem to be slipping just won't lock up so get quite hot so I can't go over 50mph. So I drive till 250 stop on road side and cool it down. Then repeat, anyone else had this issue?

I had a TB converter in my 65 that had trouble locking up when it was hot too. would it lock after you let it cool down?

I would let it cool down on roadside down to 200ish. One time at a gas station I shut it off after it got to 200 and shut it off and let it cool down for about 30 min. Then I started going again and it would lock up and stayed under 200 for about 30-40 mins then it kicked out and started getting hot. I did notice that if I only ran about 50mph it would only get to about 240 and stay there. Unless it pulled hills and then I would have to pull over and cool it down because Trans hot message would come up on cluster. It was throwing codes for tc lockup. It's just strange I've never had this issue before while driving unloaded. And what I'm pullin is not very heavy. It was an open 18' car hauler with a 4000lb camaro on it. Normally I pull with an 24' enclosed and the stock setup never had an issue with that. The enclosed combo is about 12k gross weight combined with a car onboard. Trans dosent feel like it's slipping even though it's been getting hot thank god. And has not puked any fluid out. I'll be unloaded on way back hopefully it dosent give fits. It took be ten hours to go from Lincoln,Ne to okc,ok. It sucked pulled an all nighter that night because I had to get car to dyno at 9am. Got to okc and had to do an waterpump change on the car on trailer. Then had all kinds of issues there and it never even made it on dyno. For some reason the car wasn't wanting to fire on cylinder 5,4,6,8 so strange car is on e85. Hopefully it gives me some love today im gonna check grounds etc. It's bein a stubborn bitch! So far nothing has gone right on this trip.

front seal bleedung off pressure?

Id at least drop the pan and change some fluid. 200+ degrees cooks it really fast. 260* means its burnt and will need a flush.
