Default Torsion bar problems need help

A few months ago I put a 6 inch rough country lift on my Silverado. I've been hitting a few pot holes pretty hard lately and I've noticed a feeling of the front left of my truck dropping out from underneath me. At least that's what it felt like, but after looking I noticed that the rubber bump stop (not sure of the name of the part) that sits on the new mount for the torsion bars only touches on the right side, and there is a gap left on the left side. Could this be the noise I'm hearing and the feeling I'm getting through the floor on the driver side? Should both rubber snubs be resting on the mounts?
