Time for a change to off road setup

Open element air intake: No, absolutely not, don't do it. I'm against these things in any case, but they seem to be a common precondition for a lot of the "I just hydrolocked my engine" posts. I personally saw it happen to a Dakota at a local spot...guy driving through a foot deep "puddle" hauling ***.

why would u pay $1500 for a 4" kit, when u can get a 6" kit for the same price?
i'd really like to go with a Superlift FIT kit...but im broke...and can't decide between 6.0 or lift

Pic of my truck w/Ford Keys
I have the keys (Ford) on my truck and am running ProComp X-Terrains (285/75/16). I like the stance of my truck the way it is sitting. I also swapped out the stock shocks with ProComp ES3000. I have had no probs as of yet running this setup. I do know you need to keep an eye on your alignment (but I think that is the norm when running any lift, except probably a body lift), but I'm no alignment specialist. I do have friends that cranked up their T-Bars as well but I chose the Ford keys because I didn't want to crank out my T-Bar bolts that far. These tires haven't rubbed yet but I think it is because I have the front lifted a little w/ the keys. I plan to buy some 305/70/16s pretty soon but they are basically the same size.
