My buddy's rcsb Z71 with the ford keys and the warn pocket flares or some **** with the t-bars crnaked to the max he is running 35s with the valence removed and some trimming on the back bottom edge of the fenders. It rides a little rough but now uncomfortable.

I had the Ford keys on mine, and a add-a-leaf in the back. You wont run 36's with that. I had 305/70 Super swamper ssr's on a 16x8 rim, I had to trim th einner fenders, the fenders (if I remember correctly) and crank the keys all the way, and they still rubbed in reverse while turning. You can get away with a smaller 33 (the ssr's measured 34") but thats gonna be it unless you are handy with the sawz-all

BTW what kind of stall do you have, what are you doing with it. I know someone who may be interested

I have a TCI 3k stall (AND IT ACTUALLY STALLS AT 2800-3000 RPMS) the stall is loose but I love it its great for racing as it feels very light if that makes any sense.

Can someone verify this part number for the ford keys #XL325B328CA
Why is everyone so against the ford keys? I would think they should be fine for 33-34" tires. Im not worried about a little trimming.

i have aftermarket keys similar to ford and 4 inch replacement blocks in the rear with pro comp ES3000'S, with 33x13.50 super swampers and they do rub a hair but not to bad, the just rub on my frame, but the rubbed the same before i put my new keys in, so .. also i wouldnt reccommend keeping the stock shocks cause there gonna be near maxed and ride like a tank.honestly i wouldnt reccommend the new keys at all i would go with a good 6inch suspension kit, because the 4inchers are the same price as the 6ers so why not get the 2 more inches for the same money. and ive seen many many guys run 35x12.50's with the ford keys and 4inch blocks, but then again most of those guys are running stock rims. and if you go with 33's you can stay with the stock rearend you have wich if you have a z71 you already have 3.73's and an eaton locker, cause eaton makes em. as far as a stall goes id definately put your stock one in, although it would be cool to flash about 3k and drop it in 4high the 4l60e doesnt take much abuse, ive already rebuilt/replaced mine 4 times. but i also wheel alot so take it for what its worth, i dunno about the cam, i have a ls6 cam and springs waiting on me to put it in.

the reason i'm against ford keys is because it puts everything in the front suspension at a greater angle witch wares it quicker and causes it to be more likly to break. for instance i run 36s with less angle up front then a stock truck would have and i have been through 2 cvs and 3 tierods.
