So I ordered 275/40/17 for my truck
I currently have 31" tall tire in the front. I'll be mounting 26" tall tire in the rear.
Help or hurt me?
I'm hoping this set up is ok because I just spent $400 on these tires.

i would at least run a 28'' tire. (i just ordered some slicks for my sled) and you might need to adjust your tune for the smaller tires.

 

That's a tiny tire.. I ran that on my lowered foxbody..

 

I ship the nitto tire back. Ordered 275/50/17 m&h racemasters drag radial. Awesome tires currently trying work tire psi down to find sweet spot.
Hook a lot better but still spinning little bit. Truck feels different to because got more gear now drop tire down 3"

 

I have 325/45/17 M&H racemaster DR on the back of my 87, I've had M/T, BFG, Nitto and my best 60' was with the M&H hands down they like to be warmed so a little long burn out's i hook around 18psi
