Yup, I'd gamble on it. The prediction to the amount of revolutions is also based on the gearing that was available in the first place. In this instance there's no possible way you'd have a 4.08...or a 4.20 since chevy never sold one from the factory. Its just an easy way of ballparking your ratio.
