Best place to buy entire new rear + axle for Toyota 4-Runner
#1
A friend has a 1994 4-Runner 4WD and is having repeated rear axle problems, such that we believe the present assembly is unsalvagable. Short of going to the dealer (where he will certainly pay out the ying-yang), where would be the best place to get an entirely new assembly - axle, diff, etc. We are in SoCal if that makes a difference, but would be willing to order out-of-state.

A replacement: www.car-parts.com
Custom assembly:
www.frontrangeoffroad.com
I "think" allpro only does diff's
I "think" marlin crawler only does diff's as well
www.sky-manufacturing.com
All I can think of off the top of my head.
