Default Re-torque the bolts???

Is it really necessary to re-tighten all the bolts (after 50-150 miles) on a newly installed suspension lift. I just got done installing a 6" Fabtech system on my F150, and dont really see how the bolts would loosen. Ive never heard of that until I read through all of the instructions. Any thoughts?

its always a good idea to make sure they are still tight. vibration will cause some bolts to loosen over time.

It's only necessary if a wheel falls off or the complete suspension fails..... but personally I'd recheck them prior to that

Just check the bolts that done have a nylock nut with them. those will be the ones that will loosen up if any.

or you could just mark them with a paint pen, and keep an eye on them.

Just had my front end checked out, and they did infact retorque a lot of loosened bolts. So that myth has been confirmed, retorque your bolts every 500 miles.

Ive had my lift for about 5000 miles and I have even stopped at rest areas on my road trips to re-torque within 1000miles. Im religious about nuttin and boltin my front end, and I always find at least one or two out of spec. If you want her to last it's just like an oil change, it has to be done.
