Default questions about leveling kits...

hey guys, I would like to install a "leveling kit" on my 06 chevy 4wd, I have seen on ebay 3 different types, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these or could give me some advice on which would be best...

they all have new torsion cams for the front, but
1.has blocks for the rear axle
2.has shackles for the rear leaf spring
3.has an add-a-leaf for the rear spring

so, post up and let me know what you think!

thanks-william

stay away from "leveling kits" go to a local ford dealer, buy the ford 150 keys, new shocks about 2 inches longer, and buy a 4 inch block for the rear

Default Torsion Keys

I had purchaed some torsion keys off ebay, big mistake. They were from BD Performance, they were cheap and all it came with were the keys. In the ad they claimed it would keep your soft stock ride quality, but with the keys in it seemed to be rougher than with the torsion bars cranked. I'm still debating if i want to try a different more expensive brand of keys. Its your call just don't go with cheap no-name ones.

they are cheaper and lift the front to sum it up, youll need longer shocks when you crank too.
