basically i am new to the lift and off road world and looking for help... i was told stock you couldn't fit more than 32"...

anyone have any pics of tires on a 17x8?

thanks for any help
Hollister hills huh? You live in the South Bay too?
I was going to do the Fabtech 6" lift and run 35's also but ended up going the opposite direction.
Definitely don't cheap out and do the suspension lift. Keys or twisting the torsions will allow 33's but the ride will be harsh and parts will fail quickly. The cost of a good lift is what convinced me to drop Well that and cleaning all that mud off the truck and from inside the engine bay.

Running real 33x11.50 Mud Tires on my stock 06 w/ no rub. As mentioned above, nothing on a 1/2 is ment to handle anything over a 265 probably. Power steering hates these tires as does the running gear.

Thats about all we get to look forward to around this dump. A spilt slushy that hangs around for about a day and then at night (25 degrees) it turns into a nice little skating rink out there. Haha

dnt worry about the ford keys imo i cranked my stock keys about 5 turns got just about an 1.5in lift in the front and got 285-70-17 nitto terra grapplers ... awsome tire by the way i highly recomend !!!!! wish i went with the 295-70-17's there still plenty of room for the and my cv angles are not bad at all and the ride is great i just ordered rough country nitro 9000's 2in longer then the factory shock if i was you with a daily driver spent alot of time on the street and some of the time off road id go with a 2in. body lift and just a few turns of the factory tb's to level her up a bit and a set of 33-12.5's itll be great off road and you'll still be able to pound the corners and run the highway gd luck
