Default need some advice on leveling

I'm thinking of adding another leaf spring in the rear bc i need the extra payload and i was wondering how much that would raise the rear up. Also if i did that would a 3 inch body lift in the front be enough to level it out or at least get it within an inch or so. I have a stock ecsb Z71. I hope this isn't a ridiculous question but I'm a noob and any advice you can give me on what I'm trying to achieve would be greatly appreciated.

If you add another spring in the back you will not get more lift than the spring thickness, unless the way it mounts will make your entire leaf pack curve more. Your best bet to level the front would be adjusting the torsion bars (do a search), a body lift would raise both the front and the back the same amount.

Pro comp has lift from 2 to 7 inch is you want extra payload strength do lift leafs and not blocks. But a 4" kit sounds good for you. and 305/60/17 tires(33") yould set it off right.
