Default Lt headers and lift kit

I have a 2012 sierra with a mcgaughys 6 in lift, just from eyeballing the area looks like i could run lt's and an ory but it is a tight fit, just wondering if anyone else out there has lt's with a lift kit, pictures would be awesome!

What longtubes are you planning on using? I believe the Speed Engineering ones will clear.

Speed Engineering Truck & SUV 1 3/4" Longtube Headers (2007-2013) - Headers & Y-Pipes - Exhaust - 1999-13 LSX Trucks - Shop By Vehicle

They are a forum sponsor so hopefully posting a link won't hurt anyone's feels.

There's a bunch of thread floating around about their exhaust stuff.

I was looking for some 1 7/8, but I guess the real issue is if the ory will clear the lift kit?

I think the long tube collector will come to close to the lift kit and front driveline before I can turn down for the ory

Not at the moment... Still have my sss manifolds and cats on it at moment.... But the transfer case should be in the stock location, most lifts drop the front diff down about 4" or so, as to not change the front shaft angle and length but so much! Point being the ory should fairly closely follow the factory y pipe, whether they modeled them after 2 or 4wd y pipe i couldnt tell you but i cant see gm being **** enough to make two different y pipes for 2 or 4wd... And the cats on the nnbs trucks are wider than a 3" collector...

I have dynatech LTs on my 2011 on a 6" procomp kit. Everything fit just fine but the supports for the drop bracket were kind of a bitch to get around when installing.

I know this post is a little old, but I figured I'd share my Y-pipe issues. I have a 6.5" BDS lift in my 06 Sierra. Speed engineering 1 3/4 long tubes with their ORY pipe. The y-pipe did not clear the front driveshaft at all. Took some serious torching and hammer therapy to make a "half moon" dent in the y-pipe to clear the shaft. Of course the clamp right at that corner wouldn't seal at all so that joint had to be welded. Good news is the y-pipe is still removable with that joint welded.
