Looking for a 2" body lift need help!
#1
I am doing an HD front swap on my 00 1/2 ton x-cab and have become interested in doing a body lift. I am thinking that way I will not have to lower the bumper mounts. Only problem is I can't find anyone who makes a 2" lift, can someone point me in the right direction?
Also does anyone have any pics of a 99+ with a 2" body lift?
Thanks in advance!!

There was a thread on TahoeYukon forum about this, where the guy just trimmed the bottom of the grille to fit and it looked good. Sorry not sure where to look,
Did you check Summit racing? they sell performance accessories body lifts and "summit" body lifts.
Im sure it could be done with out a body lift if thats what you want.

I think I might have to!! There has to be someone who sells a 2", if not I might just have to pickup a generic 3" kit and cut them down to 1.75-2".

when i bought my PA body lift for my truck i remember seeing the option for the 2" kit instead of the 3" and my truck is an 04's so there should be no difference. but i got mine from summit so if you looked there already i dont know why its not there.

I dont remember when i had my body lift on my truck but...i dont remember there being to many parts in the kit. So with that being said...why dont you just by a 2" body lift for a fullsize truck and just get yourself some new bolts. I bet you could even use the radiator fan brackets they supply if you are running a clutch fan. if you have electric fans then you dont have to worry about it.
The body lifts for the truck dont require any welding so you wont have to weld and metal spacers on your truck. so just count how any frame mounts you have and make sure the kit includes enough of them.

I just checked and it shows a 2" for the 03-05 but not for the 99-02. Kind of strange.

Never mind I found this for install instructions on summits website.
14 - 3” x 3” blocks
2 - 3” x 2” blocks
2 - 3” x 2” 5/8” through hole blocks
I will be using 1.5-2" blocks but it looks like you can get the blocks on e-bay. I think I will most likely take the 3"ers and cut them in half. Then fender washer in my way to desired clearance.
I am getting excited fellas!!
