+1 4wp has never been very good.... i have had alot of issues with them, and they used to call me and ask me if we had any old parts to stick on a vehicle that they had broken a part... so they were willing to stick a almost failing part on a car to get it out the doors...

same with white motorsports in riverside, ca they have a huge shop, but everything they touch comes in here to be fixed because they screw pinion angles, hack anything to make something work...

my buddy who works on the counter here has a 94 s10 blazer 2wd, and they said they would give him a "new" just released kit from a brand new (at the time) company cst...

ive used cst... decent stuff... when he got his truck, first they put the wrong "fabtech" springs for a full size in it, so the front was basically at max suspension travel and wouldnt move with me on the bumper.

then they said it was his fault because he had a 4 banger and he said it was a v6.... it is a v6.... i pulled the number off the wrong spring and it was for a fullsize... then they left all the stock bushings and balljoints in place.... even though the $1000 + kit he was supposed to get was supposed to change for better travel ball joints, and new poly bushings.

long story short.... to this day cst doesnt have anything for a 94 s10 blazer... only the truck, an it specifies that, and the fact that there are only a few cst parts on the truck the rest is a mix of pro comp, and fabtech and "other" parts... i would say they threw together whatever pieces they could find.... so buyer beware...

research whatever shop you are planning on using!!!

4 WHEEL PARTS, and WHITE MOTORSPORT both bad deals

Sorry to hear of your bad luck with them. There is a 4WP right down the street from me...I'll make sure not to go there!

Sorry to hear about your issues but I've never done or heard of anything as bad as this in the 2 years I've been working at the Denver store. I had a customer who was having issues with his bronco after we installed an ignition and volunteered to drive him back to vail because I felt bad and he was a chill guy. We towed his truck back to the shop and were never able to reproduce the issue. My customer never reproduced the problem but we both think it was vapor locking or having some form of fueling issue when it was hot. Regardless I gave him a ride for free and we paid for the tow because that is what a good shop does in my mind. There are over 50 4wp stores and plenty of retard employees (especially the internet or telephone). I would suggest finding a guy that knows what he is doing or dealing with another shop, sorry to hear about your troubles but I consider myself very competent at my profession since it really isn't difficult to sell people toys all day long.

imo you shoulda gone to one of the stores instead,im not saying there right by anymeans but the store could have handled it better. my personal experinece with them- had 2in lift put on s10 drove for 2or so months, dorve it a 1000 miles home(indiana) found out the day before i left to head to tx that the upper control arm was loose as s@#t.so called um up they said to take to nearest store(3 hours north) no way so i tightened everything back up with wheel as best i could.got to 4wp houston 1000 miles trip they put it on align rack fixed everything and replaced the front tire that got worn cause of miss align

+1 NEVER deal with 4 wheel parts. A very good buddy of mine was quoted 250.00 to remove a lift off of his truck. It was a very simple spindle lift for a 2wd. Very simple not hard at all. They call him in the middle of the process to tell him that they didnt know that they need new u bolts for the rear end and that they had to special order them and get them rushed over by a local shop. They charged him 150.00 for u bolts!! WTF. Then I give him a ride to pick his truck up and half of his lift was missing. We raised all kinds of hell and all they could say was that they were not responsible for anything on the truck once it came off the lift. WTF!! IMO never deal with them. Their prices can be beat if you shop around.
