Help, Rear suspension on Tahoe sagging.
I don't know much about suspensions and towing. I was wondering what you 4 x 4 guys recommend I do about trying to raise the rear of my Tahoe to match up with the font? It sags about 1 to 2 inches without any weight. I plan of pulling a trailer soon and need to beef up the suspension somehow.
Let me know what my options are. I would like to at least have it level when I'm not towing or hauling additional weight.
Thanks!

Try putting in Beefier springs. I am not really sure the Tahoe setup but you may be able to put suburban springs in there or better yet 2500 suburban springs in there?

I've delt with the firestone's the couple of times I've installed them but most systems are basically the same. I looked at stylinconcepts and they offer a couple of different systems for the tahoes.

If its NBS with coilsprings, the airbags work well. I ran them on my lifted 02 for a few years. The factory springs are a really light rate. They also rely on the shocks to carry some of the weight. I needed longer shocks so went with 12" 5100 which only worsened the spring situation. I was running an RCD lift witch uses spacers for rear lift and after adding my rear bumper/tire carrier/winch set up and spare parts, I was running the bags maxed and still sagging. I also pull a 4800 lbs camp trailer with it. I ended up going with Superlift replacement springs which are a heavier coil. I still run a 1" spacer to level it out. No airbags long enough for my new setup.
If your stock height or lifted with spacer and keep weight resonable, the airbags should work perfect. I went with Firestone but they are all pretty good.
