I have been happy with the 275/60/20 Cooper LTZ's on my Tahoe. They see mostly pavement with occasional sandy offroad and they do well at both. As for it being a 'hooking' tire, not so sure about that. My hoe is mostly stock and now that the tire is down to about 1/4 tread, they are starting to slip on accel in the wet and occasionally on dry pavement. However, I couldn't turn them over if I tried when they were new. (this is in 2wd of course)

They have about 30K on them now and I am guessing they have another 10k left in them till they hit the wear bars.

My hankooks prolly aint gonna last long once i get the turbo on. So im lookin at the Nittos again. Or Cooper Zeon ltz.

Tires have gotten expensive!!
I paid 440 shipped for my 265/65/17 atm's. Now they are almost 750.

But then again i do like the cooper discover AT/3's.
That aint no $hit!!! The at/M's i put on the hoe 2 years ago were 650 now there 850

Im thinking of running either the cooper ltz or the ht plus.Only thing that sucks about the zeon's is there 10 ply

Falken rocky mountain ATs. One of the best tires I have ever ran, smooth and quiet. I dont have a problem spinning on takeoff anymore. When I was running Mastercrafts, I was spinning them on the take off bad and spinning on the 1-2 shift. Not happening with the falkens.

I ran 325 terra grapplers and within the first couple minutes of driving them I felt like I was gonna wipe out and crash, I was able to do john force rolling burnouts with only a mild tune, headers and exhaust. The day I bought them I ordered up my 36" Iroks and put the terra crapplers forsale.
With the mods I have now I can stab the throttle, get a tiny howl out of the Iroks and hold on. They hook amazing for such an aggresive tire.
