Default ford keys PICS

I leveled a 99 1500 at work with a set of ford keys today. I thought it worked out very well and rode slightly stiffer than stock but it drove/handled noticably better. I think they are a good mod especially considering how cheap they are.
The only thing I didnt like is the angle that the keys put the tensioning bolt at but with the amount of tension on top of them I cant see them shifting.

Below is a pic of the camber difference, the stock key is on top.

He kept the stock shocks, you only need different shocks when you increase the suspension travel more than 3". I was suprised how well it rode with 285/75 BFG AT the extra tire sidewall might be the difference it rides alot better than stock keys cranked up.

Im gonna do em on mine and note the angle difference between the stock and ford keys on the joints. I wouldnt think there would be any difference but Im no suspension guru I just got into this stuff 3 months ago for my new job.

I paid about $25 for the set at one of the dealers here in S.A. They were simple to install but you will need large C-clamps to help you remove the old keys. Whole job took about 30 minutes.

Here is one of the links that NoChrome was talking about for Ready Lift, but they are not cheap (about $230).
