Height? offset of rims? I'd say if they are under 33s and with the right offest you'd be ok.

that is the thing, how do i tell how much offset? yes, the tires i want are true 33's. My rims are 20x9.5 made by eagle.

They will rub a hair since you have wide wheels.

They'll rub a lot more than you think. That's a 33.2" tire. A 305/70/16 tire is only 32.8" and most stock z71 trucks with ford keys have trouble fitting those. You'll have an extra 2/10's of an inch which may not seem a lot but it will be.

If you feel like cutting a bunch and rubbing on lock to lock then get them, if not stick with the 50's

well, is there a wider tire that i can fit? with the 305/50's they still don't stick out pass my fenders. What ways can i get them to stick out? and what would be the best?

You won't be able to run 305/55R20's without a body lift.

They might make a 315 which would be wider or you could use spacers.

if your wanting your tires to stick out more you should get some different back spacing on your rims. the tires will not change this by their self.
