is it possible to buy all of the pieces seperate for a lift kit? i already got longer shackles and taller blocks, but if i put them in its gonna sit way nose down. is it possible to buy all of the pieces to get like 2-4 inches of lift outa the front ? and what would i need? i know ive been told to just go with a body lift, but im looking for a little more ground clearence plus i just like the idea of a suspension lift better. thanks

You could call Rough Country and ask for Jeffery and see if he could work out a deal on just the front components.
They help alot of jeep guys out with lifts so maybe they'll help you out to

ok thanks, i was thinking 3 inch taller rear block, and what are my options up front, are spindles only for 2wd? im new to this so i have no clue.
i was also wondering if i did a 4 inch lift in the front, with 3 inch taller rear blocks and then added a few leafs would that give me the rake in the front? because i need a bit more life in the rear springs.
ive been looking and the only cheap way, is body lift. which i dont like. i just dont like the idea at all. i know they can be tough, but i dont want to start adding extensions. i think my best bet wil be to sell off the rear blocks and get a 4 inch rough country lift. i can level it out, but then it will look goofy pulling, which i do alot of. and every now and then i need to use the bumper to pull which i cant with a body lift. i guess i better just buy the lift kit and go for it.

Go 6" if possible. Almost everyone I know that has a lifted truck, wants to go bigger. Mudaholicz71 is one of those from the threads i've seen.
I went with a Tuff Country 6" kit. I threw the 4" blocks in the shed and put 5" Skyjacker leafs in the rear. Its been that way a little over a year. Next month i'm going to get a 3" bl. Along with 37's or 38's.
There is nothing wrong with a bl at all. Every truck i've owned ended up with one. Even though I start out against it. Best way to go up cheap.
I reread the thread. How about what year and kind of truck you have? Is it 2w or 4w drive?

oh sorry i didnt post my stuff, i have an 02 silverado z71 ecsb with 5.3. 373 gears and a few simple mods done, with more in the future. i just want to get up a little more, im not sure if i want to go 6 inches. well i do, but im not sure i want to get my truck re geared. if possible id like 4 inch lift and 33s, or something like that.maybe even 6 inch if i can get it cheap and then id run 35s, but then id have to regear.

alot of of kits like knuckle kits only drop the diff like 5" give or take and then you get your full 6" from cranking the torsion bars.... you could buy a kit like the rcx and not crank it and have your 4"maybe a tad higher and run 33s easy.
33s fit one a z71 stock though.
