I had my 15" drilled and slotted rotors turned about a month ago. No problems with it as long as whoever is turning them knows to take it very easy on the cuts. You gotta take off just a little at a time.

I was told that the disks are surface hardened and once they are turned, the hardness is gone.
Have you worked them hard in the last month?

I was at the dragstrip last Friday and hauling my 5400lb truck down from 90mph on them. Still works great!

I had mine fronts turned about 6 months ago. Only issue was finding a shop that could turn a larger diameter rotor. Some shops are equipped for standard rotor sizes only. But you're already past the finding a shop issue.

Performance-wise, no issues.

i turned a set of z06 vette dilled rotors a couple months ago and they are still doing great for the customer. just make sure whoever turns them only take .001 or .002 off of them at a time. anymore than that and the bit can catch in the holes and make a big mess out of your high dollar rotors and and expensive lathe.
