Default Backspace Ques

Is anybody runnin 6-1/2'' or even 7'' of back space on there rims The reason I ask is want to get some 16''x10'' with alot of back space so the wheel doesnt stick out real far let me know what you got.

your gonna have to worry about the leaf springs and such what tire you looking for?

They would be for my M&H Racemaster 30/14.0-16lt these tires do not buldge at all on the side wall but I want the rim under the truck instead of sticking out so far.

i dont think it will hit the rear spring as much as it would hit in the front spindel or when you turn it might hit the body. on my ss i am running 9.5" wide but they are 20" and clear the spindels and control arms.

Yeah Mwalls my 20s are 9''s on a 5.5 it looks like I can go in another inch I guess I should dig out my 16s and put 1 on and look harder the thing is I want to be ablolutly sure cause the wheels I want to buy are about $500 to my door they are custom made unless anyone knows where I can get a 16''x10'' wheel with 6.5'' backspace.

I bet you could as much as 7" of backspace. I've been thinking about what i could go with if mine won't hook up...thats what i came up with.

Man I sure hope so we kinda got keep these tires inside a little so we are in the groove with everyone else.

breeze, I know you ended up buying the hi $ wheels, but did you ever find any other brand with a 6.5 backspace on some 16x10..??
