Default Any suggestions for shocks?

I'm putting on new shocks within the next couple of weeks and wasn't really sure on what to get. I have a 2000 chevy z71 1500. Also I would like to level the front up to match the back. What's the best way to do that. Is their something I should do first before shocks to achieve the leveling.
Thanks

Rancho RS9000X shocks, best shock out there IMO. You can adjust them to ride exactly how you want. They even make a set for cranked key trucks so you're not constantly topping out the shocks.

BowTie, what did you end up getting? Both the Billy 5100's and RS9000X are nice shocks!

I run the Rancho 9000XLs on my 2000 and love them!!!
Can make it ride smooth for DD, or crank them up for towing or hauling or whatnot. Ill be goin with them again if these ever wear out.
