I understand without a tonneau cover tailgate down reduces gas mileage. But what about with one. And why no tests with a tonneau cover and a tailgate net what effect would there be on aerodynamics. Plus without the gate it is 35 pounds or more you dont have to carry any more its not much but it counts. I am looking for tonneau with gate down tests. Gate off with tonneau. And tonneau and gate net together tests. Tonneau with gate up is a def gain as long as its lightweight. But if anyone has thought of this or know s the answer to these questions your help is appreciated
